Coverage & Protections
HEALTH AT TIME OF TRANSFER
Haskeez takes reasonable and responsible measures to raise healthy puppies and to reduce the risk of illness and disease.
Our puppies receive age-appropriate care, preventative measures, and attention according to our puppy care program.
However, no breeder can guarantee that a living animal will never become ill or that a puppy will never develop a health condition after leaving the breeder's care.
The Buyer understands that the stress of leaving littermates, traveling, entering a new environment, changes in food or water, and exposure to unfamiliar animals and environments can affect a young puppy.
Haskeez makes every reasonable effort to prevent illness and reduce puppies' exposure to infectious organisms before they leave our care.
Nevertheless, puppies can be exposed to infectious organisms in many environments, including during transportation, veterinary visits, pet stores, public areas, shared yards, parks, rest stops, training facilities, grooming facilities, and through contact with other animals, people, footwear, surfaces, or contaminated materials.
For this reason, Haskeez does not guarantee against illnesses or conditions that may be acquired through environmental or infectious exposure after the puppy leaves our possession.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Parvovirus (Parvo)
• Coccidia/Coccidiosis
• Giardia
• Kennel cough and other respiratory infections
• Intestinal parasites or other environmentally acquired organisms
The Buyer acknowledges that some infectious conditions may have an incubation period during which a puppy has been exposed but does not yet display obvious symptoms.
The Buyer agrees to use appropriate precautions until the puppy's veterinarian determines that the puppy has sufficient vaccination protection for public exposure.
COMMUNICABLE DISEASE & ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE
